I'm pleased to announce that The BUB is once again back up to date!
I have finished entering all the lighters so the contributor list, top ten list, and total lighter count are all accurate.

Oops. A small error has been made, and here's what happened.
On August 20th, Keith and Kim's family brought us a large amount of lighters.
Knowing it would put us close to No.3400 and a celebration dinner, the
kids were anxious to know if we'd made it or how many more we needed to
have dinner at Pancho's that night. So we did a quick count of the lighters
that they had brought. Most of the lighters from the Covingtons were in
2 neatly packaged boxes labeled with how many lighters were inside. Since
we were in a hurry and there were so many lighters to keep track of, we
didn't actually open these boxes at that time but used the number written
on the outside. Now the Covingtons do a wonderful job of labeling their
lighters, but in this case, there were more lighters inside one box than
it said. As much as I'd like to leave the miscount at that, I have to
admit that I also miscounted the number of lighters that were in another
bag. So when we thought we needed 6 more lighters to have dinner, we really
only needed 3 more. The result of this is that we thought Josiah found
No.3400, but it was really Joel. I apologize for the error. Since we already
enjoyed our celebration dinner, The Board is thinking that the best way
to set this right is for Joel to just reimburse Josiah for the meal. :)

And thank you for fixing the silverware drawer. I think of you every time
I open or close it. : )

Okay people...over the past week we've gained a LOT of lighters.
It's going to take me a few weeks to get these all logged in and the site updated.
Individual and total lighter counts will be wrong while I do this.
The BUB's current holdings are really somewhere around 3440 lighters.
I'll let you know when the update is complete.

I've started adding the lighters that we picked up on our last trip to Missouri & on the Cousin Trip.
I'll let you know when the update is complete.
Until then, the Top 10 List and individual counts will not be accurate.
